162 km (100 miles) in 5 stages and 6000 D+ : From the mountains to the sea through dunes of Wahiba desert

Programme of the raid day by day:

Day 1: Departure from Paris

Day 2: Arrival in Muscat - Acclimatization day under the sun of the region.
Arrival at international airport of Muscat, reception and visit of the Muscat mosque. Transfer to the bivouac of departure at White Sand along the Indian Ocean and race presentation.
Free day..
Dinner and night in your tent.

Day 3: Free day in White beach, checking of material and medical file.

Day 4: Prologue of 4.5 km (2.8 miles) following by the 1st stage : 30 km (18.6 miles) and 2000 m of elevation gain from the ocean to the mountains (Halout).
You will run through those mountains with significant change in altitude.
Checkpoint with water supply / 12 km (7.4 miles)
Enjoy these moments of coolness to 2,000m up before facing the desert.
Dinner and night in your tent.

Day 5: 2nd Stage : 42 km (26 miles)
Halout - Pass of Qalhat : 1,600 m of elevation gain and 3 passes & canyon for this day spent into the spectacular mountains and passes overhanging the Indian Ocean nearby.

Day 6: 3rd Stage : the shortest and hardest! 2,000m of elevation loss during 20km (12.43 miles). Make no mistake about it, because this stage is dificult. You will arrive at the ocean. After the coolness of the mountain, you will find warmth and humidity before crossing the finishing line ...in the water !

Day 7:
Special Dunes: The landscapes changes, you will arrive on giant dunes. After the mountain, you will be in the heart of the Wahiba desert. 32 km (19.8 miles) of sprint in giant dunes.

Day 8: Marathon: 42 km (26 miles)

The 5th stage will take place in the dunes. Dinner and night in your tent
Arrival at Safari Camp.
Awards ceremony with folk evening (music and festive BBQ).
Night in your magical tents ...

Day 9: Back to Muscat in the morning. Arrival to the hotel and free day.

Day 10: Transfer to Muscat airport for your departure flight .

100 km (62 miles) in 3 stages: an all-mountain race, 5000 D+

Programme of the Ultra Trail day by day:

Day 1: Departure from Paris

Arrival at the international airport in Muscat, reception and transfer to the bivouac starting at White Sand along the Indian Ocean
Free day.
Presentation of the race.
Dinner and night in your tent.

Day 6: Special Dunes: You will be at the heart of the Wahiba dunes during the 4th stage of the raid (162 km = 100 miles). Night at Sama Camp

Day 7: You will follow in 4x4 or on the checkpoint the Dunes Oman Marathon, which is also the last stage of the Raid (162 km).
Awards ceremony with folk evening (music and festive BBQ) in the Safari Camp.
Night at Safari Camp.

Day 8: Back to Muscat in the morning. Transfer to Muscat airport for your departure flight.

Dunes Oman Marathon

42 km (26 miles) : an all-dune marathon, 1000 D+

Programme of the Marathon day by day:

Day 1 : Departure from Paris CDG in the evening with Oman Air and Emirates airline

Day 2: Arrival in Muscat in the morning
Acclimatization day under the sun of the region. Arrival in the international airport of Muscat
Drinks party for welcome the runners, then transfer to the oasis of Wadi Bani Khalid and then to the Safari Camp to see the end of the 4th stage of the Raid (162 km = 100 miles)

Day 3: Oman Marathon race
Awards ceremony Folk and festive BBQ.

Day 4: Transfer to Muscat. Departure from Muscat airport in the morning.
Arrival in France.
